Problem
Selling solar and energy storage requires engineering before a product list: load profile, capacity planning and system design. That process ran scattered across spreadsheets, and leads and quotes fell through the cracks.
Solution
We unified the lead pipeline, customer records, quoting and field installation stages in one CRM, making daily production and installation metrics visible on live dashboards.
Where it started
ionBATech offers a wide range of energy storage, LiFePO4 battery, solar and inverter solutions from residential to agricultural and light industrial. By nature, each sale is less a standard product order and more an engineering process.
Leads, site-survey requests, capacity calculations and quotes were kept in different places. Which lead was at which stage, and how each installation was progressing, couldn't be seen in one place.
How we approached it
We mapped the existing process with the sales and field teams and clarified the stages a lead passes through, from first contact to post-installation support. Those stages became the CRM's pipeline.
We consolidated lead management, customer records, quoting and installation tracking in one panel, and built a dashboard where management can see metrics like total installed power, daily production and active projects at a glance.
Result
The team now manages leads, quotes and field installations from one system; it's transparent whose desk work is on and at what stage. Capacity planning and quoting steps became standard inside the CRM.
The dashboards make the overall state of operations — how many systems are installed, how much power is online, which provinces are active — visible at a glance.
