Medproper — Hotel Management CRM

We built an enterprise hotel management (CRM) system with inventory tracking, supplier management and revenue dashboards for a hospital-affiliated hotel.

Problem

The hospital-affiliated hotel tracked inventory, suppliers and revenue by hand; stock levels, purchase orders and revenue breakdown couldn't be seen in one place.

Solution

We built an internal CRM unifying stock movements, supplier orders and revenue dashboards, bringing critical stock alerts and revenue analysis onto the dashboards.

Where it started

The hotel inside the hospital ran a multi-line operation covering room revenue, food & beverage, inventory and supplier relations. When these lines were tracked in different spreadsheets, the true state of inventory and the breakdown of revenue weren't clear.

Critically, stock dropping to low levels wasn't noticed in time, and purchase orders were prepared manually.

How we approached it

We modeled stock items, their movements and supplier relations; by defining current and minimum stock levels for each product, we automated critical-level alerts.

On the revenue side we brought room, food & beverage and other revenue lines onto dashboards; metrics like occupancy rate and daily revenue became monitorable from one screen.

Technical solution

The system was built with TypeScript and NestJS; the data layer was built with TypeORM on PostgreSQL and served as a REST API.

The application was containerized with Docker; stock alerts, purchase-order creation and revenue reporting were managed centrally in the business-logic layer.
