- Resend

Problem
Access to hospital services was scattered and cumbersome across booking, finding the right doctor and reaching department information. There was no single digital entry point for patients.
Solution
We built a digital experience presenting appointment booking, doctor profiles and informational content consistently across both the mobile app and the website.
Where it started
The hospital handled most patient communication over the phone. To book an appointment or find the right doctor and department, patients had to stay on the line with the call center.
The web and mobile channels needed to be consistent both visually and functionally — informative and geared toward booking.
How we approached it
We centered the patient journey: choosing a department and doctor, finding an available time, and creating an appointment — designed to complete in as few steps as possible on both mobile and web.
Doctor profiles, specialties and informational content were fed from a single content structure and shown consistently across both channels.
Technical solution
The mobile app was built with Flutter; the website with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. The back-end was written with NestJS, and the data layer kept with Prisma on PostgreSQL.
Email notifications were provided with Resend; appointment, doctor and content data were served to both the app and the site through a shared API.
